SPRING - 'Seasons' Series - Linocut

'Spring' is a seven colour linocut print celebrating the wonderful spring flowers that we find here in the British countryside. The print depicts a decorative typographic mug bursting with spring blooms. It is the first print in my new 'Seasons' series.
The print is a limited edition of 50.
Each print has been editioned and signed.
Paper size: 22cm x 22.5cm
Image size: 17cm x 15cm
All prints are hand burnished using a wooden baren and spoon. I use oil based inks for their longevity and vibrant colour.
It is printed onto a beautiful Japanese Okawara paper which has a warm natural tone, deckled edges and subtle surface texture, which occasionally has little flecks, which adds to it's charm. Prints will have a mix of cut and deckled edges.
*The pictures are to illustrate design and colour. Due to the nature of the printing process, all prints have slight variations in depth of colour and placement.*
