Alice - Bolster Cushion

The Alice pattern is a two colour design combining a graphic turquoise zig zag and stylised red poppy motif.

100% cotton

The design is hand block printed in my studio in the Cotswolds, England. Printed using eco friendly water based inks onto a beautiful crisp white vintage cotton sheeting. Due to this, I will only be making a very limited run of these cushions on this particular fabric.

The cushion is printed on both sides.

The cushions are all sewn in house and are finished with matching bright red piping and close with a zip.

The cushions come with a wool cushion pad made in the UK. Wool pads really keep their shape very well, and are quite lightweight, but firm. Wool is anti allergy and resistant to dust mites and bacteria. It's a very eco friendly sustainable filling option.

I'm always trying to make my work as environmentally friendly as possible. To reuse lovely old fabrics is a wonderful way of doing this.

Due to the hand printed nature, density of colour and repeat will vary. There may also be slight imperfections in the fabrics weave. I feel this all adds to the beauty of the garment and makes each one unique.

Hand wash only - Iron on reverse.
